The Dakar 2010 is a 3D game developed in C++ with
Dev-C++.
I have used several engines to make the program better:
- Irrlicht 1.6 graphical engine (1.6-svn for the linux)
- Newton 2.0 physical engine
- irrKlang 1.2.0 sound engine
- OpenAL 1.1 with OpenAL-soft and ALUT
For the textures i have used the
Gimp 2.6 program.
For manipulating the 3D models i have used
MilkShape 3D 1.8.4 program.
For editing sounds i have used
Audacity 1.2.6 program
For programming "high level effects" i used
nVidia Cg 2.2 shaders.
I have also used:
Biturn,
Blender
I downloaded some textures from
www.cgtextures.com.
