The Game

The Dakar 2010 is a 3D game, where you can drive like in the Dakar rally. There are several stages you can go through against the time. There aren't any opponents yet.

The final 1.0 version is released on 22nd of December. You can get it from the download page or from the Sourceforge.

The final 1.0 version uses the OpenAL sound engine by default. This was necessary because sounds provided by the irrKlang sound engine have quality problems on some machine. With OpenAL I did notice them. The OpenAL library is included in the game, but you can also get it from the download page. The irrKlang version of the binary also included in the game, use it if you have problems with OpenAL or find this better.

For system requirements, or any details click on the Description link on left side. The game supports the Logitech G25 Racing Wheel (with clutch and H-shifter).

• Volkswagen Touareg
• BMW X3 CC
• Jeep

You can drive on several type of terrains through 14 stages:

• desert
• mud
• grass
